You Must Be Born Again!

Alex Bardelmeier is the god of soccer, reading, and running. His symbols are the Encyclopedia, a shin guard, and curly hair. His weakness is easily getting tired and having difficulty finding lost items. His strength is speed and agility. One day, Alex forgot his sacred writings for his worship ceremony and was required to go and fetch it. After taking some time, the general assembly of gods began to imagine that he fell and cracked his head open and was lieing there wondering why none of the other gods came to help him. Luckily, the soccer star stayed on his feet and was only troubled by trying to find his book amidst his messy room. Just as Karolyn, the god of caring, was about to fly out to find Alex, he returned. The god of running promised to never drop the ball again and always bring his literature. Alex’s sacred scripture was recorded by Shakespeare in semi-cryptic verse. This caused everyone to have trouble understanding the wisdom contained in Alex’s writings.Fortunately, Alex is willing and kind enough to share his proverbs with his followers.

Why create GodTube?

GodTube has taken some hits on a few blogs recently. We’re new, so we understand that’s just part of getting started. In general we’re seeing great things from you and that’s very encouraging but we feel these comments from a few bloggers come more from a lack of understanding than a critical spirit. With that in mind, let us tell you why we started GodTube.

To begin, you can visit the “About Us” page on GodTube.com. You’ll see our mission statement along with the spiritual guidelines driving us. At the very least that gives you an idea of the big picture for GodTube. What we’re most interested in is using technology to reach the world. What better way to reach the world than through the Internet and what better medium than online video?

It was a pretty simple decision for us actually. We want to see spiritual impact and life change and we wholeheartedly believe GodTube will be used for that purpose. Sure, some of the videos here are less spiritual than others, but the videos people upload are just the beginning. The video chat and video email are new (and free) ways for people to connect for ministry and evangelism purposes. Maybe you’ll be the first person to start a weekly teaching series in the video chat section. It’s there for just that kind of thing. What are you waiting on? We feel it’s these tools (and others coming down the road) that will really help us reach the world with the Gospel with your help. So that’s why we created GodTube. Will you join us?

Does anyone ever get tired of the vain philosophy that man comes up with? Their foolishness reminds me of Romans Chapter One. “21b [they] became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools”

List of Atheist Philosophers

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_atheists#Philosophy

What is worse is those who call themselves Christian yet have no grain of truth in them. It seems that theologians can get away with gross untruths. There is teaching denying hell, the rapture, the second coming, and the resurrection. There are false teachers preaching soul sleep, temporary reincarnation, ethereal heavens, that humans become angels, and other such fancies. How can there be Christians out there who still believe in purgatory and absolution by a priest other than Jesus Christ? How can anyone think they can get to heaven on their good works and kind words? We need the teaching of the agony, blood, and anguish of Jesus on the cross. We must focus on how much of a price God had to pay for our sins. The real question is whatever happen to the word SIN? I hear “Christians” claiming that abortion, homosexuality, fornication, and pornography are okay. What is up with that? STOP the SIN!!!

“Old-fashioned, Spirit-filled, Christ-honoring, sin-hating, soul-winning, Bible preaching! It is the hope of the church! It is the hope of the nation! It is the hope of the world!” -Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001)
